After you register, we review the following items to check your basic eligibility.
Who Can Be Matched
F-2 (Residence) Visa Holders
No restrictions on employment activities. Eligible for most industries.
F-4 (Overseas Korean) Visa Holders
Since the H-2/F-4 consolidation in February 2026, some previously restricted simple labor and service industries are now permitted. Allowed industries may change with policy updates — we verify eligibility based on the latest regulations after registration.
F-5 (Permanent Residence) Visa Holders
No restrictions on employment. Eligible for all industries.
F-6 (Marriage Immigration) Visa Holders
No restrictions on employment activities. Eligible for most industries.
Other Work-Eligible Visa Holders
Other visa types may also allow employment. We check individually after registration.
Cases We Cannot Match
- ✗Not currently staying in Korea
- ✗Undocumented or overstaying
- ✗EPS (E-9 Employment Permit System) applicants — MyKoreaWork does not handle EPS
- ✗Visa types that do not permit employment (student, tourist, etc.)
What We Review After Registration
- ✓Visa type (residence status)
- ✓Visa expiry date
- ✓Permitted work scope (industries and positions)
- ✓Whether additional permits or separate checks are needed
- ✓Gap between preferred conditions and actual eligibility
- ✓Contact availability and basic communication ability
